Jeff and Jacqui Full Wedding Day (576 of 1198)_websize.jpg

Hi, I'm Christie!

I understand that one-size-fits-all music doesn't cut it for clients. That's why I specialize in creating bespoke setlists and arrangements that reflect your unique vision, story, and preferences. I take the time to understand your needs and work closely with you to deliver performances that are cohesive, immersive, and elevated.

My commitment to excellence has earned me recognition in the industry. I have received "The Best of the Bash" award from 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 and I am also very proud to have been selected for The Knot Best of Weddings 2022, 2023, and 2024 which recognizes expertise and professionalism in consistently providing quality service. While I'm incredibly grateful to be recognized for my hard work with these awards, I have found that the most fulfilling part of my work is collaborating with creative couples and bringing their love stories to life.

My passion for music started at the age of 5 when I saw a violinist on a VHS tape and knew immediately that I wanted to learn. I have dedicated my life to mastering the violin. Over the past 29 years, I have honed my skills and completed my Bachelor's degree in Violin Performance from Central Washington University in 2011. During my career as a professional event musician, I have worked with notable companies such as Microsoft, Dom Perignon, and Marriott Bonvoy.

I am your ally who plans for the unexpected, remains flexible, and genuinely shares in your excitement! My years of experience and expertise are at your service, and I take pride in creating custom performances that amaze and impress your guests.

"Christie Becker was the best decision we made for our wedding! Christie is a classy act and we got so many compliments from our guests about her amazing performance! Thank you Christie for being a part of our wedding and making it so memorable"

How do I start the booking process?

Head over to my contact page here. You'll be prompted to input your event date and any details that you'd like to share regarding your theme, songs or genres that you like, etc. Once I verify that I'm available on your date, I'll reach out to you to set up a quick 15-minute call to discuss any other pertinent details!

How far in advance should I book?

The sooner the better, for the best chances of my availability on your date, and to ensure we have time to truly customize everything to your vision. I rarely accept bookings with less than a month's notice, and at least 3-6 months lead time is ideal.

What information should I provide when inquiring about a booking?

The most important piece of information to get us started is your event date. Other details will be gleaned from our discovery call, including theme, songs or genres you like, your venue, your vision for your day and the order of events, your event formality and color scheme, and any other details related to your specific event.

How much does it cost to book?

Because of the highly customized nature of my services, this answer is not so cut and dry. There are details I need to know in order to put together an accurate quote. After our discovery call, I'll be able to provide you with all the relevant information so you'll have all the details at your fingertips. Upon your approval of your proposal, I'll send out your invoice and contract, at which time 50% of the total is due as a retainer for your date, with the remainder due 30 days before your event date.

Do you require a deposit or advance payment?

Yes, because so much of the work that I do is done in advance of your event date in preparation, custom arrangements, recordings, etc. a 50% retainer upon booking protects my time investment.

Will you provide your own equipment?

Yes, I provide my own professional audio equipment. This includes everything I need to perform for your event: speakers, speaker stands, audio mixer, high quality backing tracks, and cables and cords.

Can you perform specific songs or genres?

Yes, I have songs in my repertoire ranging from Pop to Rock, Jazz, Folk, Alternative, Classical, Bollywood, Italian, Latin and more!

Can I request a sample of your work?

Certainly! Click here to head over to my media page and listen to a wide range of audio samples in multiple genres and styles!

What happens if we need to cancel after booking?

I understand that unforeseeable circumstances can come up, and I will do everything I can to accommodate any changes that need to be made. First we'll try to find another date when we're both available to move your event to, or another venue if that's the difficulty. If we can't reschedule or change the location details of your event, we can cancel. Because of the work that I put in preparing for each event, the retainer fee covers this time investment, and is therefore not refundable. However, if we are more than 30 days out from your event date, your remaining payment is refundable.

Can you accommodate special requests or customization for my event?

Yes! Customization is my specialty! I can't wait to hear all the details and bring your vision to life!
